Database and Automation Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Database and Automation Engineer to manage Oracle/SQL Server environments across on-premises and AWS cloud platforms, with a strong focus on automation, migration, availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases in on-premises and AWS environments.
- Design and maintain high-availability solutions using Oracle RAC / SQL Server Always On.
- Perform database migrations to AWS and Amazon RDS.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for database provisioning and configuration.
- Create Python automation scripts/playbooks for deployment, migration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Perform database upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management.
- Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Troubleshoot database performance, availability, and capacity issues.
- Integrate database operations with ServiceNow for incident and change management.
- Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Application, Security, and DevOps teams.
