A global leader in medical technology is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis activities in Japan. Partnering closely with senior leadership, this role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, drive performance management, and enhance financial processes within a highly collaborative international environment.
The Role
- Lead the Japan FP&A team and act as a strategic finance partner to the Japan President, leadership team, and Senior Director of Finance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Japan and the APAC FP&A organization, ensuring alignment on regional priorities and initiatives.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, KPI management, and performance analysis to support business decisions.
- Partner closely with Operations and Regulatory Affairs while driving reporting improvements, automation, and process optimization across the finance organization.
Your Skills
- 8+ years of progressive FP&A or broader finance experience, including team leadership and business partnering responsibilities.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management capabilities.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems such as Hyperion, Oracle, or similar financial planning tools.
- Fluent Japanese and English with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across a matrix organization.
