What You'll Do:
- Process high-volume vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage vendor relationships, resolve invoice discrepancies, and maintain accurate vendor records.
- Prepare and process payments including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and electronic payments.
- Generate customer invoices, process cash receipts, and apply payments accurately to customer accounts.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances to support collections efforts.
- Reconcile AP and AR subledgers, customer accounts, vendor statements, and bank transactions.
- Collaborate with accounting, payroll, operations, and management teams to ensure accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions.
- Participate in system implementations, process improvements, and special projects while gaining exposure to a variety of industries, accounting systems, and business environments.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting experience.
- Experience processing invoices, payments, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data management functions.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, communication abilities, and the ability to adapt to new environments and systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
