Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Functional Lead to support a large-scale Salesforce CRM platform within a leading Canadian banking environment. The role will focus on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, business process transformation, requirements refinement, and delivery of scalable CRM solutions in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders across Retail, Commercial, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Private Banking, and Advice Centre to understand business needs and refine requirements.
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and walkthroughs to translate business requirements into Epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Design scalable Salesforce solutions using Financial Services Cloud best practices.
- Develop and demonstrate Salesforce POCs to validate proposed solutions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects and technical teams on integrations with legacy systems, core banking platforms, and data warehouses/lakes.
- Guide functional designers and development teams throughout solution delivery.
- Work with Product Owners and Technical Leads to manage and prioritize the backlog.
- Define KPIs, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive process optimization, automation, change management, and user adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce Functional Lead experience.
- 3+ years of financial services/banking industry experience.
- Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions in regulated environments.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (Sales and/or Service).
- Strong understanding of banking workflows, customer/product lifecycle, compliance, and data governance.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with core banking systems and data platforms/data lakes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership and technical teams.
- Experience with Agile, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise DevOps practices.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or post-graduate degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
