We are looking for a "Senior Dynatrace Developer" with strong experience in Dynatrace, Node.js, TypeScript, APIs, automation, and observability. The ideal candidate will develop integrations and automation using Dynatrace APIs, troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues, and build scalable solutions across microservices and hybrid-cloud environments.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, DevOps, CICD, infrastructure as code, application performance monitoring, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations and automation using Dynatrace APIs.
- Develop automation and backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate Dynatrace with enterprise applications, monitoring platforms, DevOps tools, and cloud environments.
- Build solutions to automate monitoring, observability, alerting, dashboards, reporting, and operational workflows.
- Analyze monitoring and observability data to troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and optimize performance.
- Work with microservices, distributed systems, APIs, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Develop scalable and maintainable software following established software design principles and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Cloud, Development, and Infrastructure teams to improve application reliability and observability.
- Implement and maintain CICD pipelines for application and automation deployments.
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives and automation.
- Develop secure solutions while considering authentication, authorization, data protection, and API security.
- Monitor application health and performance and recommend improvements based on observability data.
- Contribute to capacity planning, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Create technical documentation for integrations, automation, APIs, and operational processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of software development experience, with strong experience in backend development and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Dynatrace APIs.
- Strong development experience with Node.js – required.
- Strong experience with TypeScript – required.
- Experience developing integrations, automation, or custom solutions using REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of micro-services architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience working with hybrid cloud environments and modern cloud technologies.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices.
- Experience troubleshooting application performance and production issues using monitoring and observability data.
