We are seeking an experienced Director Enterprise Solutions to provide senior-level leadership and operational oversight across enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking, service desk operations, vendor management and technology modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading enterprise IT operations and technical teams, with strong expertise in AWS cloud environments, infrastructure, networking, IT service management, cybersecurity, vendor management and technology transformation.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive IT experience with significant enterprise infrastructure and IT operations management.
8+ years of IT leadership/management experience, including direct supervision of technical teams.
2+ years managing enterprise AWS environments.
Strong AWS knowledge, including:
EC2
S3
IAM
VPC
CloudWatch
Landing Zone architectures
2+ years of enterprise networking experience involving LAN/WAN, DNS, load balancing, wireless and telecommunications.
2+ years of experience with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
2+ years managing IT service desk operations, incident management and service-level management.
2+ years of IT vendor management, contract oversight, SOW development and procurement support.
2+ years managing backup and data protection solutions.
2+ years working with cybersecurity principles, compliance frameworks and IT governance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to executive audiences.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting state or federal government IT environments.
Healthcare, Medicaid or human-services technology experience.
Experience with FHIR APIs and healthcare interoperability.
AWS certification such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator or Cloud Practitioner.
ITIL v4 certification.
Identity and Access Management experience.
NoSQL databases or healthcare integration platforms.
Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD and DevOps experience.
Experience migrating enterprise workloads from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
PMP or similar project management certification.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Cloud Services
Provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise cloud environments.
Oversee cloud infrastructure provisioning, identity integration, monitoring and capacity management.
Lead and coordinate cloud migration initiatives.
Establish cloud governance, architecture standards, security practices and cost-management processes.
Develop strategies for high availability, disaster recovery and technology resiliency.
Monitor cloud performance, usage and costs and identify optimization opportunities.
Infrastructure & Operations
Manage enterprise infrastructure operations including compute, storage, virtualization, operating systems, backup and monitoring.
Ensure critical systems meet availability and performance requirements.
Lead infrastructure modernization and technology lifecycle initiatives.
Develop and maintain backup, recovery, redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities.
Network & Telecommunications
Provide leadership for enterprise network and telecommunications operations.
Oversee LAN/WAN, wireless, Internet connectivity, remote access and unified communications.
Manage DNS, load balancing and network access requirements.
Coordinate with telecommunications providers, managed service providers and technology vendors.
Support network modernization initiatives.
IT Service Desk & End-User Support
Lead IT service desk and end-user support operations.
Establish and monitor KPIs including response time, resolution time, backlog and customer satisfaction.
Oversee incident escalation and major incident management.
Improve knowledge management, self-service capabilities and service automation.
IT Service Management & Governance
Establish governance processes for incident, problem, change, configuration and service-level management.
Develop and maintain enterprise service catalogs.
Create executive-level reports covering IT performance, risks, service health and improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain IT Standard Operating Procedures.
Lead regular operational status meetings and leadership communications.
Vendor & Contract Management
Manage relationships with technology vendors and managed service providers.
Monitor vendor performance, deliverables and contractual obligations.
Lead vendor escalations and service remediation.
Support SOW development, procurement activities, contract renewals and vendor evaluations.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Partner with cybersecurity and technology leadership to maintain secure and compliant IT operations.
Support security controls across cloud, network, infrastructure and endpoint environments.
Participate in risk assessments, audits, compliance reviews and vulnerability remediation.
Ensure IT operations align with applicable regulatory and security requirements.
Leadership
Lead and mentor technical teams, managers, engineers and support personnel.
Participate in hiring and interview processes for IT infrastructure and support positions.
Coordinate with architecture, cybersecurity, networking, application development and procurement teams.
Lead response efforts for major technology outages and service disruptions, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
