About The Role
The Mobile Engineer builds and evolves native iOS and Android experiences used by customers to discover, configure, and manage core products from their phones. The role covers the full mobile lifecycle: architecture, implementation, automated testing, release management, and production support.
You will work with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and platform teams to ship fast, reliable mobile features. The team values thoughtful UI performance, resilient API integration, secure data handling, and a consistent experience across iOS and Android.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain native mobile applications using Swift and SwiftUI for iOS, and Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android
- Design mobile architectures, navigation flows, networking layers, and local data stores that remain maintainable as the product grows
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication services, push notifications, analytics, and remote configuration systems
- Write unit, UI, and integration tests using XCTest, XCUITest, JUnit, Espresso, or equivalent frameworks
- Improve application performance by profiling startup time, rendering, memory usage, battery consumption, and network behavior
- Own mobile releases through CI/CD pipelines, App Store and Google Play submission processes, staged rollouts, crash monitoring, and rollback procedures
- Collaborate in design reviews and code reviews, document technical decisions, and troubleshoot production issues using tools such as Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, or Datadog
What We Are Looking For
- 3–8 years of professional mobile software development experience, with multiple production releases for iOS, Android, or both
- Strong hands-on experience with Swift and SwiftUI, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, or deep expertise in one platform with practical experience integrating with the other
- Proficiency in mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, or equivalent approaches, including dependency injection and state management
- Experience integrating REST or GraphQL services, OAuth 2.0 or token-based authentication, offline behavior, push notifications, and third-party SDKs
- Strong testing and debugging practices, including automated UI testing, performance profiling, crash analysis, and release monitoring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Bonus: Experience with cross-platform development using React Native or Flutter, mobile CI/CD with Fastlane or Bitrise, accessibility standards, mobile security, or apps distributed at significant scale
