About The Role
The Software Engineer - Full Stack role builds user-facing products and the backend services that power them. The work spans React and TypeScript interfaces, API design, distributed services, data modeling, and integrations running in a cloud-native environment.
The role owns meaningful product areas from technical design through launch and operation. Engineers partner with product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver fast, reliable experiences while maintaining strong standards for testing, observability, security, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and ship end-to-end product features using React, TypeScript, and modern backend frameworks such as Node.js, Python, or Go
- Build and maintain REST or GraphQL APIs, background jobs, and event-driven services backed by PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud infrastructure
- Translate product and design requirements into accessible, responsive interfaces with clear loading, error, and empty states
- Own technical implementation from architecture and data modeling through testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement
- Improve application performance, reliability, and security using profiling, automated testing, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing
- Collaborate in code reviews and architecture discussions while contributing reusable patterns, documentation, and engineering standards
- Support production systems through incident response, root-cause analysis, and pragmatic remediation of operational issues
What We Are Looking For
- 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript and React, including component architecture, state management, and frontend testing
- Hands-on backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Go, or a comparable language, including API design and service integration
- Experience designing data models and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL; familiarity with Redis or event streaming is valuable
- Proficiency with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, Docker, and at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with GraphQL, Kubernetes, mobile-responsive design systems, observability platforms, or high-scale consumer applications
