Title: Senior Mobile Engineer
Time: Full-Time
Location: Remote (Europe or Canada)
Compensation: $160,000 – $250,000 CAD + $55,000 – $80,000 Equity

Our client is the first ERP built AI-native from the ground up. They help close the books faster by automating manual tasks, freeing up time to focus on strategy and helping businesses scale without adding to headcount.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a strong React Native Engineer with experience building mobile applications from the ground up (0 to 1) to own their entire mobile platform end to end. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, have a track record of shipping high-performance apps through the App Store and Play Store, and possess technical leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the entire mobile application from architecture through App Store and Play Store release, building on React Native and Expo from a bare-bones beta into a robust product
• Make critical architectural decisions, including feature selection, performance trade-offs, and UX patterns, for the first ERP software ported to mobile
• Ship production iOS and Android features daily, turning Figma designs into fast, polished components with smooth animations and clean API integration
• Establish mobile design system foundations alongside product designers, defining clean design primitives, hero bars, rounded UI elements, and intuitive navigation
• Own the full release pipeline with Expo and EAS, including store submissions, provisioning, and deployment
• Collaborate directly with the Head of Engineering and co-founders while engaging directly with customers to understand mobile needs
• Lay the groundwork for AI agent integration within the mobile app as the product matures
• Grow into a technical leadership role, eventually building and leading a mobile engineering team as the platform scales
Qualifications
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a mobile engineer or front-end engineer
• Experience building mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, Expo, and EAS
• Experience independently deploying and releasing mobile applications to the App Store and Play Store
• Experience at high-growth startups, neobanks, small crypto companies, platform teams, or enterprise and mid-market companies
• Technical leadership experience leading at least one or two engineers
• Ability to architect algorithms and design systems from first principles
• Hands-on experience interacting with databases such as Postgres
• Strong design sense, taste, and ability to establish core design principles
• Must be located in Europe or Canada with full work authorization (US Citizen or Green Card holders not open for visa sponsorship)
