Job Title: DevOps Engineer - Dublin 8

Role Type: Contract - (2-years with extensions)
Overview of Role
Experienced DevOps Engineer to standardise, automate, and rollout DevOps practices across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates or equivalent.
- Deploy and manage cloud resources, networking, security, monitoring, and governance controls.
- Automate and control application releases, including rollback capabilities.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Integrate security scanning, vulnerability assessment, secrets management and compliance controls into delivery pipelines.
- Support containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Automate operational and deployment activities using PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar.
- Manage source control, repositories, artefacts, environments, and release tooling.
- Produce operational runbooks and provide knowledge transfer to client teams.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Infrastructure as Code and cloud platform experience.
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- DevOps toolchain, source control, and repository management experience.
- Release, environment and configuration management expertise.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and security within DevOps environments.
- Strong collaboration skills across development and operations teams.
Experience:
- 4-6 years' substantial professional experience in DevOps/CI/CD roles.
- Experience across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
- Evidence of CI/CD, IaC, Cloud Administration, release Automation, monitoring/observability, Security Integration and Deployment Governance.
Education & Certifications:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent.
- Fluent English.
