About the Role
As a General Affairs Senior Officer, you’ll play an important role in keeping Flip’s workplace safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of facility operations, vendor coordination, office administration, and event logistics.
You’ll work closely with the GA/Facility team and external vendors to make sure workplace needs are handled efficiently, issues are followed up properly, and our office remains ready to support Flip’s day-to-day operations and activities.
This role is a great fit for someone who is hands-on, organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple operational tasks and stakeholders at the same time.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day office and facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, supplies, and other workplace needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure services are delivered according to agreed timelines and standards.
- Monitor and follow up on vendor performance, service requests, and facility-related issues until they are properly resolved.
- Support the implementation of workplace safety, health, and facility compliance requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to vendors, facilities, assets, and office administration.
- Support office events and activities, including venue preparation, logistics, equipment, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
- Monitor office operational needs and proactively identify potential issues before they impact daily activities.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports and tracking using Excel/Google Sheets and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with the GA/Facility team and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth office operations.
- Support other General Affairs and People & Facility Operations initiatives as needed.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years of experience in General Affairs, Facility Management, Office Management, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of basic office and facility administration.
- Experience in vendor coordination and service provider management.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and other office productivity tools.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for operational tracking and reporting.
- Experience supporting event and office logistics.
- Basic understanding of workplace health & safety practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Hands-on, proactive, and responsive when handling operational issues.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
