Overview
Welcome to Flip & Dip after school care! Help kids build friendships and confidence as we swim and play! We want to provide a social atmosphere that allows all campers to feel safe and comfortable! Our after school program provides crafts, activities, and snack for our campers!
Duties
- Oversee daily operations and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities, games, and projects
- Manage behaviors to promote positive play and resolve conflicts effectively
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including first aid procedures and childcare regulations
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and daily communication with parents/guardians.
- Our after-school program runs from 2:30pm to 5:30pm Monday through Fridays.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, early childhood education programs, and camp settings.
- Classroom management skills combined with behavior management experience
- Prior leadership experience in youth programs or camp environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education needs to support diverse learners
- Strong communication skills
