We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company building next-generation developer tools and AI-powered products.
This role is designed for a senior, hands-on full-stack engineer who has built products from the ground up in a startup or high-growth environment. You will work closely with technical founders and other experienced engineers to shape product direction, make important architectural decisions, and take new products from initial concept through launch and customer adoption.
The team moves quickly and gives engineers significant ownership. This is an opportunity to build net-new products rather than maintain an established roadmap or work within a narrowly defined engineering function.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
What You’ll Do
- Own complete product surfaces from early ideation and systems design through development, launch, customer feedback, and iteration.
- Build and evolve developer tools and AI-powered product experiences used by engineers.
- Work across user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and supporting infrastructure.
- Partner directly with technical founders to formulate product ideas, validate them, and bring them to market quickly.
- Make meaningful architectural and systems-design decisions across the full stack.
- Prototype and ship AI-powered features, including natural-language interfaces, automation, agent-based workflows, and developer productivity tools.
- Build polished, high-performance product experiences across analytics, observability, debugging, and agent platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant, hands-on full-stack product engineering experience.
- Proven experience personally designing, building, and launching a meaningful product or major product surface from 0 to 1.
- Experience working in a startup, scale-up, or high-growth environment with significant autonomy and ownership.
- Strong full-stack engineering ability across frontend and backend development.
- Strong, recent experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
- Backend engineering depth and experience making systems-design and architecture decisions.
- Experience building products used by developers, engineers, or other technical users.
- Experience with APIs, SDKs, developer platforms, or developer-facing tooling.
- Experience at a developer tools or infrastructure startup building products for engineers.
- Experience shipping applied AI or LLM-powered features, or compelling examples of using coding agents or agentic tools to materially improve your engineering workflow.
- Demonstrated ownership of product decisions from ideation through launch and iteration.
- Ability to move quickly, work independently, and make sound decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Strong product judgment and an understanding of how technical decisions affect the user experience.
This Role May Not Be the Best Fit If
- Your experience has been primarily within large, highly structured organizations without meaningful startup or high-growth experience.
- Your background is primarily DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or platform operations without substantial product ownership.
- Your experience is limited to either frontend or backend development rather than full-stack product engineering.
- You have not personally taken a meaningful product from idea to production.
- You prefer remote or hybrid work.
- You require current or future visa sponsorship.
Technical Environment
The engineering environment includes technologies and concepts such as:
- React
- TypeScript
- Go
- Firecracker
- GitHub Actions
- AI and large language models
- Claude
- APIs and SDKs
- CI/CD
- Developer tooling
- Full-stack development
- Systems design
Not every technology listed above is required. The strongest emphasis is on React and modern frontend development, backend depth, systems design, developer-facing products, and meaningful applied AI or agentic engineering experience.
Why Join
- Build products that do not yet exist rather than maintain someone else’s roadmap.
- Own products from initial idea through daily customer use.
- Help expand an established developer infrastructure platform into AI-powered developer tools, agent infrastructure, and coding workflows.
- Join a well-funded company experiencing significant revenue growth and serving thousands of businesses.
- Work within a small, highly technical team with minimal management layers.
- Collaborate directly with technical founders.
- Make product and architecture decisions that will shape the platform for years.
- Work in an engineering culture that strongly embraces AI-native software development.
- Receive a competitive base salary and equity package.
