About the Opportunity

The organization is seeking an experienced marketing events professional to manage and execute high-profile programs globally. This role will contribute to the development and production of effective and outstanding event programs for B2B events, overseeing all aspects of event program development, including content, creative, and logistics, AV, and vendor management. Additionally, analytical skills will be utilized to conduct post-event reporting and ROI analysis to measure program effectiveness.

This Event Manager position is ideal for an individual who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, possesses a keen eye for detail, and brings extensive experience managing the full lifecycle of corporate and strategic events, from internal summits to high-visibility third-party tradeshows. The Event Manager will focus on planning, operationalizing, and executing major moments throughout the year with cross-functional working teams. The Event Manager will be embedded full-time as a dedicated support resource within a client's global events team.

Key Responsibilities

- Event execution: Project manage assigned events from start to finish by creating event playbooks, leading weekly stakeholder meetings, developing and presenting post-event debriefs, and traveling onsite or supporting virtually as needed.

- Logistics management: Oversee assigned event logistics, including placing booth orders, shipping materials and swag, and reporting on key performance indicators to measure the success of events.

- Collaboration and coordination: Partner with marketing, sales, business development, and other teams to manage booth design, presentation content, onsite staffing, and post-event analysis.

- Budget oversight: Maintain and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality delivery.

- Sales enablement: Create and distribute materials designed to help sales promote events, including drafting content for event pages, invites, emails, and FAQs.

- Documentation and coordination resources: Create and maintain up-to-date trackers, workback schedules, timelines, briefs, and briefing documents to serve as a source of truth throughout the planning process.

- Stakeholder communication: Collaborate and communicate major deadlines, developments, and goal tracking to cross-functional workstreams, vendors, and leadership. Raise key decisions and blockers for team resolution.

Required Qualifications

- 5-7 years of experience in experiential project management, at a remote or multi-location company.

- Direct experience working within a B2B technology or SaaS environment, with a focus on tradeshow booth logistics, internal corporate programs (kickoffs, summits, customer advisory boards), and sales support.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple projects with simultaneous and conflicting deadlines to execution with minimal supervision, on time and on budget.

- Excellent communicator; collaborative, organized, with strong presentation skills and the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors on in-person events, including fabrication and signage vendors, staffing companies, and design firms.

- Experience managing events with large working teams across content strategy, creative, customer experience, internal and external outreach, and event metrics.

- High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, embedded client environment.

- Willingness and ability to travel and act as onsite lead at major brand moments, no less than 2–3 times per year and up to 35% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

- 3-5+ years of experience managing B2B SaaS field marketing and event logistics, including full-lifecycle execution of large-scale tradeshow booths.

- A strong track record of planning and executing internal corporate programs, e.g., annual revenue kickoffs, executive summits, and customer advisory boards.

- Demonstrable experience aligning event strategy with sales enablement, lead generation, and pipeline acceleration goals in a fast-paced technology environment.

- Knowledge of enterprise software technology and a desire to learn new technologies.

- Experience working with and managing multiple production vendors, simultaneously.
