NXTINNOV is Looking for:
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join NxtInNOv — an early-stage AI/agentic orchestration platform targeting enterprise clients in the energy and BFSI sectors. This is a founding engineer role: you'll own the full stack end-to-end, make real architecture decisions, and be the most senior technical voice in the room — with minimal oversight from a non-technical founder.
What You'll Actually Do
- Design and build backend services and APIs — making real architecture calls, not implementing someone else's spec
- Build full-stack features end to end: data model, API, and the frontend that consumes it
- Own scaling decisions — caching, queuing, async processing — before they become emergencies
- Design systems that stay maintainable as they grow: clear service boundaries, sensible data ownership, clean integration patterns
- Integrate AI/LLM-powered features as a first-class part of the system — designed in from the start, not bolted on
- Debug hard, ambiguous production issues across the stack, including under real load
- Make build-vs-buy calls on frameworks and tools, and be able to justify them
- Work independently — you'll often be the person deciding what "correct" looks like
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on full-stack experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) — must have built and owned both backend and frontend
- TypeScript proficiency on the backend (Node.js) — service design, not just consumption
- React + Next.js on the frontend — component architecture, state management, SSR trade-offs
- Real architecture decision-making experience — can name a specific decision made, the alternative not picked, and why
- Demonstrated understanding of how systems break at scale — caching, queuing, async processing, data ownership
- Cloud infra experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) — deploying, scaling, and debugging in a live environment
- Experience with async and event-driven architecture — queues, background jobs, retries, eventual consistency
- Ability to work independently from a rough goal with no spec
- Strong Git workflow and CI/CD setup experience — not just using a pipeline someone else built
- LLM/AI API integration experience in a production system — understands cost, latency, and reliability trade-offs
Strongly Preferred
- Agent orchestration framework experience (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)
- Vector database experience (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or similar) for retrieval-augmented generation
- LLM observability/tracing tools (Langfuse or similar)
- Container orchestration at production scale (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Prior founding engineer, early-stage, or tech lead experience — where you set direction rather than followed one
- BFSI or energy domain exposure
