Referment is working with a global investment and technology firm to find an associate for its financial analysis and reporting team. The team develops forward-looking analysis and reporting that helps leaders understand performance and make informed decisions across a complex investment organisation.
You’ll combine financial modelling with practical data analysis, producing decision-ready insight while helping the team improve its reporting frameworks, dashboards and analytical tools. The role works across financial operations and has exposure to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The Role
- Develop and maintain models used for budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reports for finance and firm leadership, drawing out trends, variances and key business drivers.
- Analyse financial, operational and business data to answer questions and support decisions.
- Build and standardise dashboards, reporting frameworks and analytics tools.
- Partner with colleagues across financial operations on business questions and capability-building initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- At least two years’ experience in financial analysis, data analytics or a closely related field.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science or another relevant discipline.
- Practical strength in financial modelling and data analysis, with close attention to accuracy and detail.
- The ability to explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Initiative, sound problem-solving skills and an appetite for learning new concepts and tools.
- Professional discretion when working with sensitive information.
Desirable Experience
Familiarity with coding or automation tools would be useful, but it is not presented as essential.
This could suit an analyst from FP&A, strategic finance, financial analytics or a data-led finance role who wants to work on both recurring reporting and broader decision-support questions.
