Marketing Manager
£55,000–£60,000 | Hybrid | Kingston Upon Thames
A high-growth, specialist business is hiring a hands-on Marketing Manager to build a marketing function with real ownership from day one.
This is not a role where you inherit layers of approvals, agency dependencies or a rigid marketing playbook. You’ll have the freedom to shape the strategy, prioritise the work and deliver campaigns that directly support commercial growth.
What's in it for you?
- Genuine autonomy and visible impact.
- A blank canvas with clear commercial potential.
- A senior, hands-on role without the politics of a large marketing department.
- Flexible working for the right person, with a minimum commitment of three days per week.
- The chance to build something meaningful in a business entering its next phase of growth.
The opportunity
The business has built strong momentum through sales, partnerships and a well-established client base. Now, it is investing in marketing as a major growth lever.
You’ll work closely with the Chief Growth Officer across a varied remit: developing campaigns, improving the website, activating partnerships, engaging prospects and clients, and making sure every piece of marketing looks and sounds exceptional.
What you’ll own
- Build and run practical, commercially focused marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging email marketing for prospects and existing clients.
- Improve website content and landing pages.
- Lead partner marketing activity, events and webinars.
- Develop polished sales collateral, presentations and customer-facing content.
- Bring fresh ideas, sound judgement and pace to an underdeveloped marketing opportunity.
- Help shape the tools, processes and marketing roadmap as the function grows.
What we’re looking for
- You’ll be a confident, autonomous marketer who enjoys being close to the work.
- You can take a broad commercial brief, challenge it constructively, turn it into a strong plan and deliver it without needing an agency to do the heavy lifting.
- You’ll care about the detail - great copy, clean design and a professional finished product - but you’ll also know how to move quickly.
What you need to have to be successful as the Marketing Manager:
- In-house marketing management experience; ideally across 2 roles within SaaS.
- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills.
- A good eye for design, presentations and web content.
- Experience with HubSpot, Webflow, Microsoft and Google tools - or similar platforms.
- Campaign, partnership, event or webinar experience.
This is a chance to make your mark quickly: build a high-impact marketing function, see your ideas go live, and directly influence how an ambitious business grows.
