Our goal is simple: deliver reliable topographic services from fieldwork to final plans. Your Responsibilities ⚡ Your Role You will support our projects in electrical networks, dry utilities, civil works (VRD), and site development. Your main activity will be as-built surveys and mapping, complemented by other topographic tasks at I3P. You are accountable for data integrity from the field to the final deliverable. 🧩 Key Missions 🔹 Network As-Built Surveys Conduct post-construction topographic surveys As-built mapping of networks and structures Surveying of equipment, surface features, and key elements Verifying consistency between executed works and field observations Processing and analyzing field data Producing as-built plans with clear, precise, and client-ready deliverables Systematically reviewing plans before submission 🔹 Topographic Surveys You may also support: Planimetric and altimetric surveys Roadway and site surveys Infrastructure and network surveys Surveys for design studies Georeferencing of field data 🔹 Setting-Out & Field Tasks Depending on projects: Setting-out of structures and networks Marking points and axes Topographic verification checks Participation in geolocation detection and network reclassification (Class A) Coordination with I3P’s engineering teams and Project Managers 🔹 Data Processing & Validation You will also ensure: Processing of field-collected data Plan production and updates File organization and traceability Compliance with client standards and charters Pre-delivery consistency checks Reporting on mission progress 👉 The goal is not speed at the expense of quality. The goal is to deliver accurate, clean, and on-time results. Required Skills & Profile 🧠 What We Expect 🎓 Education & Experience Degree in topography / surveying: BTS Géomètre-Topographe et Modélisation Numérique, BUT / Professional License, or equivalent Proven professional experience in topography is required Experience in network as-built surveys, VRD, or dry utilities is a strong asset Valid Class B driver’s license (essential due to frequent field travel) ✅ Technical Competencies You should be proficient in: Field topographic measurements Use of surveying equipment Processing and analyzing field data Plan production (AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software) Reading network and VRD plans Self-checking and validating your own deliverables Knowledge of electrical networks / ENEDIS, georeferencing, PGOC (Network Mapping Standards), or Class A requirements is a plus. 🔥 Essential Attitudes At I3P, technical skills alone are not enough. You: Are rigorous and precise Verify your work before submitting it Are reliable in meeting commitments Can organize your days and travel efficiently Alert promptly if field data is inconsistent or insufficient Seek to understand—not just execute Accept technical feedback and correct quickly Clearly report mission progress Take care of assigned equipment Have a strong sense of craftsmanship and client satisfaction 👉 At I3P, trust is granted—but earned through facts, quality, and reliability. ❌ This Role Is Not for You If: You collect data without questioning its consistency You produce plans without verifying them You lack precision or methodical rigor You need constant follow-up You dislike reporting on your work You dislike fieldwork or travel You consider a mission complete once fieldwork is done We’re looking for someone we can truly rely on—from fieldwork to final deliverable. Autonomy Timeline At 1 month: You master I3P’s methods, tools, and standards; carry out your first missions under supervision; and independently handle routine as-built surveys with reliable outputs. At 3 months: You manage full missions end-to-end: preparation, fieldwork, processing, validation, delivery, and reporting. At 6 months: You are a fully autonomous, reliable Surveying & Mapping Engineer, contributing to the improvement of topography methods and tools. Benefits & Career Development 🚀 Growth Opportunities Depending on your level, commitment, and business growth, this role may evolve toward: Surveying & Mapping Team Lead Technical Reference for Topography / As-Built Surveys Topographic Service Coordination Mentoring junior staff Contributing to the structuring and growth of I3P’s Topography Department We’re also looking for someone who can, over time, help grow the activity—not just execute tasks. 🤝 Why Join I3P? Independent, fast-growing technical SME Concrete projects in electrical networks, dry utilities, and VRD Field missions with visible, tangible results Real autonomy and responsibility Direct collaboration with Project Managers and management Opportunity to help shape the Topography Department Culture based on rigor, quality, responsibility, and commitment Environment where performance and reliability are recognized This role isn’t for everyone—but it’s ideal for a surveyor who loves fieldwork, precision, and the responsibility of delivering reliable work. 📩 Application Send your CV + a few targeted lines explaining your field experience and the types of topographic services you master to: 📧 [email protected] Subject: Géomètre-Topographe – I3P We place more value on what you can actually do in the field and how you work than on a generic cover letter.
