Business Project Manager – Asset Management
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Project Manager to lead and coordinate business-driven initiatives across the Enterprise Change Office (ECO) and Investment Operations (IO).
You will partner with business leaders, technology teams and delivery partners to drive successful outcomes across the Asset Management domain. The role is focused on business outcomes, stakeholder alignment and execution, rather than hands-on technology delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead medium-sized business projects and support larger, global programmes across business and technology workstreams.
- Translate business objectives into clear delivery plans, milestones and outcomes.
- Manage status reporting, risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
- Coordinate stakeholders across business, investment, technology and delivery teams.
- Drive delivery using established project governance, methodologies and tools.
- Support change management, communications and adoption readiness.
- Provide clear updates and effective communication to senior stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve delivery challenges while maintaining focus on strategic and operational priorities.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Project Manager, Programme Manager or Consultant delivering cross-functional business initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience translating business objectives into executable plans and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong consulting mindset, with the ability to influence, structure complex problems and operate effectively in ambiguity.
- Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, governance and project reporting.
- Experience supporting change management, communications and business adoption.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and governance.
- Experience working with technology-enabled transformation, such as data, platforms, automation or operational improvement, without needing to be a hands-on technologist.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience within Asset Management, Capital Markets or Financial Services.
- Understanding of front office, middle office or Investment Operations environments.
- Experience delivering initiatives across both business and technology teams.
- Experience working within a global or complex organisational environment.
- Experience contributing to larger strategic programmes alongside leading individual projects.
