Role Title: Senior Solution Architect (Data & Core Platform)
Location: Brisbane, QLD (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (High probability of extension)
Daily Rate: $1,200 – $1,450/day (inclusive of Super)
About the Opportunity
One of our client is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end data architecture and modern solution design for a major core platform upgrade spanning Policy, Claims, and Billing capabilities.
This role bridges enterprise strategy and complex implementation, working closely with executive leadership, technical teams, and product managers to shape target-state architecture and transition roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Target-State Data Architecture: Define and execute target-state and transition-state data architectures, data flows, and information blueprints across core system domains.
- Core Platform Integration: Design end-to-end solution architectures supporting native platform capabilities across Policy, Claims, and Billing environments.
- Data Management & Governance: Lead Master & Reference Data Management (MDM/RDM) strategy, establishing robust data quality, privacy, and governance frameworks.
- Impact & Migration Strategy: Identify data impacts across business services, driving data migration strategies and architecture assurance for enterprise-scale platforms.
- Architecture Assurance: Partner with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure solution alignment with broader technology, security, and identity standards.
Key Requirements
- Core Domain Expertise: Proven experience delivering architectures across core platform capabilities covering Policy, Claims, and Billing (Insurance or Financial Services background strongly preferred).
- Data Architecture Mastery: Demonstrated experience establishing target-state data models, data flows, enterprise data migration strategies, and information architecture.
- Cloud & Modern Tech Stack: Strong architectural depth across AWS cloud environments, relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Elasticsearch), and modern integration patterns.
- Governance & Delivery: Broad understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF), Agile/DevOps delivery models, and data governance practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical and data concepts to executive leaders and cross-functional teams.
