UI/UX Designer (Contract) — Markham, ON | Hybrid (4 days/week)
We're hiring a UI/UX Designer for our large enterprise client, to help design digital products supporting both customer-facing and internal field/operations tools.
Details:
- 📍 Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid — 4 days/week on-site)
- 🗓️ Contract: 6 months, extendable
- 🚀 Start: ASAP
What you'll do:
- Lead UX across field mobile apps, agent/operations consoles, and customer journeys
- Conduct research with field staff, operations, agents, and customers
- Design authenticated, task-first flows — including error, empty, loading, and unavailable states
- Build wireframes, flows, and prototypes in Figma that are implementation-ready
- Contribute to a shared design system (React Native + web)
- Design for real-world use: outdoor contrast, large touch targets, short task time
- Own accessibility (screen readers, Dynamic Type, non-color status signals)
- Partner with product, engineering, and security through build and launch
- Define success metrics (completion, drop-off, fallback usage) and review post-launch
Must-haves:
- Product UX experience with at least one shipped native iOS app
- Strong portfolio spanning research, flows, visual design, and dev handoff (Figma or equivalent)
- Experience designing authenticated/operational products
Nice-to-haves:
- Design systems experience
- Background in field or operations-focused tools
