Senior Reliability Engineer

Join a high-performance team dedicated to developing and deploying cutting-edge autonomous technologies in the sleep fitness industry. As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will lead efforts to ensure the long-term performance, durability, and robustness of critical hardware systems, focusing on electromechanical components and sensors. This hands-on role is ideal for detail-oriented engineers passionate about identifying failure risks early, driving cross-functional collaboration, and delivering reliable hardware for real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead reliability engineering across hardware programs, ensuring components and systems meet demanding performance, environmental, and durability requirements.

- Apply Design for Reliability (DfR) principles throughout the product lifecycle to proactively mitigate failure risks.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to uncover failure modes and validate hardware.

- Translate FMEA and reliability risk analyses into targeted test plans.

- Plan and run Design of Experiments (DOE) to address key reliability concerns.

- Design and optimize test fixtures for electrical, thermal, mechanical, and environmental stresses.

- Drive and support failure analysis investigations, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and component teams.

- Leverage data analytics tools (Python, JMP, MATLAB) for testing workflows and reliability modeling.

- Champion continuous improvement in reliability processes and tools.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).

- 5+ years of hands-on reliability engineering experience in electromechanical systems or sensors.

- Proven track record in testing and validating hardware for long-term field performance.

- Strong understanding of physics of failure and reliability engineering principles.

- Experience with environmental and mechanical stress testing.

- Familiarity with reliability analysis tools: FMEA, Weibull analysis, SPC, HALT/HASS, and accelerated life testing.

- Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW).

- Experience with reliability test equipment (environmental chambers, vibration tables, thermocouples, strain gauges, data acquisition systems).

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
