About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join an established architectural precast concrete manufacturer serving commercial construction projects.
This role combines estimating and project management, from reviewing plans and preparing estimates through coordinating projects to completion. The ideal candidate has experience in concrete construction, estimating, and/or project management. Direct architectural precast experience is preferred but not required—the company is willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates and proposals for custom architectural precast concrete projects.
- Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Perform material and labor takeoffs and develop project pricing.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, costs, and documentation.
- Coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Track project progress and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, or quality.
- Support change orders and other project-related pricing.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, project management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with estimating, takeoffs, scheduling, and cost control.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Architectural precast experience is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to learn the architectural precast industry.
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000–$95,000 annual salary.
- 401(k) with 3% company contribution.
- Profit sharing of approximately 5%–15% of pay.
