Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Estimator for a fully remote position. This role focuses on data entry, plan evaluation, and precise cost estimation for pre-engineered metal building projects.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform accurate data entry and takeoffs for pre-engineered metal building projects.
● Prepare comprehensive project cost estimates and competitive quotes.
● Review project specifications and structural constraints to ensure accurate pricing.
● Work closely with internal team members to ensure smooth project intake and quote delivery.
Qualifications
● Basic understanding of metal building construction, structural steel, or estimating fundamentals.
● Strongly Preferred: Direct experience with Star MyPortal and/or Nucor eQuote. Experience with similar metal building software is a plus.
● Open to all levels of experience willingness to learn and execute accurate data entry is key.
