Alexander Chapman is partnering with a real estate investment firm focused on senior housing to hire a Senior Analyst / Associate for its Investments team.
The role will be primarily focused on acquisitions and underwriting, supporting an active investment platform that has completed approximately $450M of acquisitions this year.
The team is looking for someone with direct senior living / senior housing experience who can understand property-level operating financials and identify the drivers behind performance.
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite senior housing acquisition opportunities
- Build and review property-level financial models
- Analyze historical and projected P&Ls
- Review occupancy, revenue, labor costs, operating expenses and margins
- Identify abnormalities and key performance drivers within operating financials
- Support due diligence and transaction execution
- Underwrite alongside the firm’s in-house operating platform
- Work closely with senior members of the investment team
Ideal background:
- 1–3 years of senior housing / senior living investment experience
- Acquisitions, underwriting or investment experience
- Strong understanding of senior housing operating financials
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Detail-oriented and comfortable analyzing property-level performance
- Experience with assisted living, memory care and/or independent living preferred
- U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship is not available
Location: Dallas or Nashville preferred, although strong candidates across the U.S. will be considered remotely.
