About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Backend Developer to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining scalable backend systems that support our dynamic SMS marketing platform. Your expertise will contribute to designing high-performance APIs, optimizing database operations, and integrating AI-driven development tools to streamline our processes. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 7 years of experience in backend development, demonstrating a strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and AWS cloud services. A solid understanding of application deployment, database optimization, and API development is essential. Familiarity with AI-based development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable is preferred, along with an interest in adopting AI-driven practices. Experience working remotely, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are critical for success in this role. Candidates should be proactive problem-solvers with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot frameworks to ensure platform stability and scalability.
- Design, implement, and optimize relational databases with SQL to support high-volume data processing and retrieval.
- Deploy and manage cloud-based applications utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS, ensuring high availability and security.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub and Jenkins to streamline development workflows.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools into the coding process to enhance productivity, automate testing, and accelerate delivery cycles.
- Collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver impactful features and improvements.
- Maintain documentation, perform code reviews, and adhere to best practices for software development and security standards.
