Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS

Hong Kong | 12-Month Contract | HKD 60,000-80,000 per month

We are currently hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale technology environment in Hong Kong on an initial 12-month contract.

This role will suit an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on AWS experience who can support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation and production platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain scalable infrastructure within AWS

- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

- Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code

- Support containerised environments and cloud-native applications

- Improve platform reliability, monitoring, performance and security

- Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues

- Work closely with software engineering, architecture and infrastructure teams

- Drive DevOps best practices across development and deployment environments

Requirements

- Strong commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer

- Excellent hands-on knowledge of AWS

- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar Infrastructure as Code tools

- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes / EKS

- Good scripting skills using Python, Bash or similar

- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools

- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking and production environments

- Comfortable working within complex enterprise technology environments
