About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to join a major Salesforce transformation programme in Munich on an initial 12-month contract.
The successful candidate will take ownership of solution architecture and technical design, working closely with senior stakeholders, Developers, Functional Consultants and wider technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical design of complex Salesforce solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and secure Salesforce architectures.
- Define Salesforce data, integration and security architectures.
- Provide technical leadership to Salesforce Developers and technical teams.
- Review and approve solution designs and technical approaches.
- Design integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise platforms.
- Define API and integration strategies using REST, SOAP and event-driven architecture.
- Lead technical workshops and architecture discussions.
- Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and architectural challenges.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
- Assess existing Salesforce environments and recommend improvements.
- Support Salesforce implementations, migrations and transformation programmes.
- Ensure solutions meet Salesforce and enterprise architecture best practices.
- Provide guidance on emerging Salesforce capabilities including Agentforce, Data Cloud and AI.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of professional Salesforce experience.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Technical Architect or equivalent senior architecture role.
- Extensive Salesforce platform knowledge.
- Strong technical understanding of Apex, LWC, SOQL and Salesforce APIs.
- Extensive experience designing Salesforce integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing and data architecture.
- Experience delivering complex enterprise Salesforce programmes.
- Strong understanding of integration and enterprise architecture patterns.
- Experience providing technical leadership across Salesforce teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a contract environment.
- Good English required; German language skills advantageous.
