Security & Privacy Review Consultant
Client Location: Chicago, IL
Type: 3+ Month Contract
Note: This position is hybrid 3x a week downtown Chicago, 2x remote. This client will not sponsor or transfer visas now or in the future.
Responsibilities: This individual will review and assess new technology requests and agreements for information security, Data and regulatory requirements and potential risks ensuring compliance with relevant Policy, data privacy laws and regulations. This person will also recommend revisions to strengthen security-related clauses and provide guidance on security incident reporting and liability provisions.
Requirements
- Experience in information security, supporting CISOs or security governance functions, risk management, or contract review
- Familiarity with regulatory standards/privacy frameworks (e.g., SOC2 Type II report reviews, SOC3, ISO 27001, NIST, NIST CSF, GDPR, CCPA, PCI, HIPAA)
- AI/ML data handling awareness
- Ability to maintain records and documentation of reviews
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
