As the organization continues to invest heavily in data and AI, it is building out its internal AI capabilities and looking for a senior technical professional who can help define, build, deploy, and scale enterprise AI solutions.

The Role
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer / AI Solutions Architect to work closely with business, engineering, and technical leadership teams to design and deliver production-grade AI solutions.
You will act as a technical subject matter expert across AI engineering, agentic AI, RAG, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and enterprise integrations. You will also play an important role in establishing best practices and helping develop the organization's wider AI engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define and deliver AI-driven solutions
- Translate business challenges into practical AI strategies, architectures, and technical approaches
- Provide technical guidance and direction to engineering teams as AI capabilities scale
- Act as a subject matter expert across AI engineering and emerging AI technologies
- Contribute to AI training, technical playbooks, standards, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Establish and maintain AI governance, compliance, security, and auditability standards
- Design AI agents and RAG solutions across enterprise data platforms
- Develop and support RAG pipelines leveraging platforms such as Databricks, Azure SQL, and CRM/enterprise applications
- Provide technical direction for deploying AI applications within Microsoft Azure
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, and business workflows
- Establish reliable deployment processes using CI/CD and standardized engineering practices
- Support the productionization, monitoring, and ongoing reliability of AI applications
- Mentor junior AI engineers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical guidance
- Develop AI training materials and engineering best practices
- Help establish "train-the-trainer" approaches to scale AI knowledge across technical and business teams
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience across AI engineering, machine learning, software engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrable experience designing and deploying production AI solutions
- Strong Python development skills, including APIs, testing, and CI/CD
- Experience with ML/AI frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly services such as Azure Functions, Container Apps, Azure SQL, and Blob Storage
- Strong data engineering experience with platforms such as Databricks, data lakes, and modern cloud data warehouses
- Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, security, and compliance
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and APIs
- Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience building AI agents or agentic AI solutions
- Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, monitoring, and observability tooling
- Experience integrating AI with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise platforms
- Experience establishing AI engineering standards or mentoring other AI professionals
