Vistex Functional Finance Consultant with Farm Management

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Vistex Functional Finance Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Finance, Vistex, and Farm Management implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Open Field Farm Management, with Greenhouse Farm Management experience being a strong advantage. The consultant will work closely with business, finance, agriculture, and SAP teams to design and implement solutions covering farm operations, costing, settlements, pricing, and financial integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and implementation of Vistex solutions integrated with SAP Finance (FI/CO).
- Work on Farm Management / Agriculture implementations, preferably in Open Field Farming environments.
- Understand and configure financial processes associated with farm operations, including:
- Farm and field/plot accounting
- Crop and harvest costing
- Farm activity costs
- Labor and equipment costs
- Agricultural input/material costs
- Yield and production-related financial processes
- Accruals, settlements, and financial postings
- Design integration between Vistex, SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Vistex/SAP functional specifications.
- Configure and support Vistex pricing, rebates, settlements, incentives, claims, contracts, and other relevant processes for the agriculture business.
- Support farm-to-finance integration, ensuring operational transactions are correctly reflected in SAP financial accounting.
- Analyze accounting requirements and determine appropriate GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and other CO objects.
- Support month-end/year-end closing activities and reconciliation of farm and Vistex transactions with SAP Finance.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, integration testing, cutover, go-live, and post-production support.
- Prepare functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
- Work with technical ABAP, integration, mobility, and SAP teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Farm Management Experience – Preferred
Strong preference for candidates who have worked on Open Field Farm Management implementations involving:
- Farm/field master data
- Crop planning and crop cycles
- Planting and cultivation activities
- Harvest management
- Yield tracking
- Farm inputs and materials
- Labor and machinery/equipment costs
- Farm activity costing
- Procurement and inventory integration
- Production and harvest settlement
- Cost allocation and financial accounting
- Traceability and operational reporting
Greenhouse Management experience is highly desirable, particularly exposure to greenhouse crop planning, production cycles, resource utilization, yield, costing, and financial integration.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO).
- Hands-on experience with Vistex functional implementation/configuration.
- Experience in Vistex pricing, rebates, settlements, incentives, claims, or contracts.
- Experience with Farm Management / Agriculture industry solutions.
- Strong understanding of integration between Vistex and SAP FI/CO.
- Experience working across SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and FI/CO.
- Strong requirement gathering, functional design, testing, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation or major enhancement projects.
