Position Summary
Client is seeking a skilled AI Automation Engineer to build and deploy intelligent workflows across our portfolio of companies. In this role, you will be a hands-on builder creating practical AI systems that automate and streamline functions for internal teams. You'll work directly with executive leaders to eliminate repetitive administrative work, streamline processes, and give teams more capacity to focus on high-value, judgment-heavy decisions. Key Responsibilities
AI Workflow Development & Implementation
- Design and build custom AI automation workflows using Claude and related tools
- Create end-to-end systems that integrate AI with email, CRM, customer support platforms, forms, databases, and internal operations
- Develop intelligent agents and automations that handle patient intake, assignment workflows, email triage, form processing, and reporting
- Build monitoring systems and exception-handling workflows to catch failures before they impact operations
Stakeholder Engagement & Process Optimization
- Partner with operational leaders to map workflows, identify pain points, and prioritize automation opportunities
- Conduct interviews and working sessions with end users to understand their day-to-day challenges
- Translate complex, messy real-world processes into reliable, scalable AI systems
- Embed with teams during implementation to understand workflows firsthand and iterate based on feedback
Deployment & Team Enablement
- Train teams on new AI workflows and provide ongoing support for adoption
- Create documentation and runbooks for teams to manage and optimize their AI automations
- Monitor system performance and continuously improve automations based on usage and feedback
- Iterate on systems over time as business needs evolve
Compliance, Security & Governance
- Build safeguards and review layers into AI workflows, especially for sensitive or regulated operations
- Ensure all automations comply with HIPAA, data privacy, and healthcare regulations
- Implement proper access controls, audit trails, and approval workflows
- Document architecture, logic, and decision-making in AI systems for accountability and compliance
Travel to support other business leaders’ AI automation workflows is expected to be approximately 25%, including overnight travel as required.
