- Strong understanding of the commercial lending and credit lifecycle, including origination, underwriting, and loan operations
- Proficient in analyzing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Solid grasp of key credit risk concepts such as probability of default, borrower risk ratings, exposure, and borrower/guarantor structures
- Familiar with deal-level data, including facilities, pricing, covenants, and hierarchical structures
- Experience ensuring data traceability from source documents through systems to regulatory reporting
- Hands-on exposure to credit platforms such as Optimist, nCino, and PrecisionLender
- Skilled in data quality management, reconciliation, and controls
- Familiarity with document extraction and GenAI-based data mapping (nice to have)
