Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and organized Graphic Designer / Project Manager who can take a project from customer information to final production-ready artwork. You’ll work closely with customers, sales, project management, and production to make sure designs are accurate, professional, and ready to produce.
This role focuses on creating customer proofs and production-ready artwork for custom signage, vinyl graphics, and large-format projects. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working within an established
production process. You should have strong Adobe Illustrator skills, a good eye for detail, and an understanding of how artwork translates into a finished product.
The role involves taking project information and specifications, creating clear customer proofs, incorporating feedback through revisions, and delivering accurate, production-ready files. We value someone who asks questions when needed, takes feedback well, and speaks up about potential issues before they make it to production.
Sign industry experience is highly preferred but not required. Experience in print production, wide-format graphics, prepress, fabrication, or related fields is also valuable. We’re looking for someone who understands how artwork translates into a finished product from printing and cutting to routing, fabrication, and installation.
Strong written and spoken English, reliable communication, and consistent availability during agreed-upon working hours are essential. We value someone who asks questions when needed, takes feedback well, and asks questions about potential issues before they make it to production. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys creative work but also pays close attention to details, stays organized, and takes ownership of getting projects across the finish line.
What You'll Own
- Review customer files, measurements, specifications, and project instructions to create accurate and professional proofs.
- Make revisions based on customer and internal feedback and prepare final artwork once the proof is approved.
- Carefully review spelling, dimensions, colors, materials, quantities, and other project details. Identify problems or missing information before moving forward.
- Keep project files organized according to company procedures and communicate clearly with sales, project management, and production teams.
- Complete a final quality check to make sure artwork is accurate and production-ready before it is released.
What Makes This Role a Fit
This role may be a great fit if:
- You naturally create structure and keep your files, projects, and deadlines organized.
- When you encounter a problem, you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done rather than waiting for someone else to solve it.
- You enjoy turning ideas and information into creative, professional designs.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and take pride in getting things right before they reach production.
- You are comfortable asking questions when something doesn't make sense and communicating clearly with your team.

▪ Ability to vectorize logos and other artwork when appropriate.
