Principal Python Engineer- Greenfield GenAI Development

Salary: €110,000 - €120,000 DOE
TechHeads is excited to bring you a new opportunity for a Principal Python Engineer to join a leading organisation in the FinTech sector. This role is ideal for an experienced Python Engineer who enjoys working in greenfield environments, taking ownership of technical direction and turning early-stage ideas into working solutions.
You will be responsible for developing proof of concepts and exploring how AI platforms can be designed and integrated to support the wider business. Working with Python, AWS and modern AI frameworks such as LangGraph and CrewAI, you will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business challenges, test new approaches and establish how AI capabilities can be built and scaled. This is an excellent opportunity to have ownership and influence over the greenfield development of impactful AI integrated platforms..
This position is based in Dublin and supports hybrid working, giving you the flexibility to balance collaboration with focused development time. Allowing you to work on cutting-edge AI projects while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.
Requirements:
- 8+ years software engineering experience with strong Python expertise
- Hands-on experience with AI Frameworks such as LangGraph/CrewAI
- Extensive experience in AWS environments
- Experience developing AI integrated platforms such as chatbots/agents including proof of concepts.
Salary: €110,000 - €120,000 DOE
