About the Opportunity
HummingBird is hiring an HRIS Manager on behalf of its client, a leading organization based in Hyderabad.
We are looking for an experienced HRIS Manager to lead the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization's Human Resources Information Systems. The role will work closely with HR, IT, payroll, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure HR systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong HR technology expertise, experience managing HRIS implementations and integrations, and the ability to translate HR processes into effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Strategy & Management
- Own and manage the organization's HRIS strategy, roadmap, and technology initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems.
- Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and technology improvements.
- Ensure HR systems support business requirements and evolving organizational needs.
- Manage system upgrades, enhancements, releases, and change requests.
HRIS Implementation & Projects
- Lead or support HRIS implementations, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical system specifications.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure successful deployment of system changes.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, process maps, and operating procedures.
Data & Reporting
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, security, and consistency of employee data across HR systems.
- Develop and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decisions.
- Partner with HR teams to define HR metrics and reporting requirements.
- Identify data-quality issues and implement appropriate controls and corrective actions.
Integrations & Technology
- Manage integrations between HRIS and systems such as payroll, benefits, time and attendance, finance, identity management, and other enterprise applications.
- Work closely with IT and technology teams to troubleshoot system and integration issues.
- Evaluate new HR technologies and recommend solutions that improve employee and HR experiences.
- Support automation of manual HR processes through technology.
Security & Compliance
- Establish and maintain appropriate HRIS access controls and permissions.
- Ensure employee information is handled securely and confidentially.
- Support compliance with applicable data-privacy, security, and HR requirements.
- Participate in audits and ensure appropriate HRIS documentation and controls are maintained.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related matters.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and other business functions.
- Manage relationships with HR technology vendors and service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, issues, and system enhancements.
- Provide training and support to HR teams and system users.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in HRIS, HR Technology, HR Operations, or a related field.
- Strong experience managing enterprise HRIS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS configuration, implementation, integration, and system administration.
- Strong understanding of core HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience with HR data, reporting, analytics, and system security.
- Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with one or more of the following HR technology platforms will be an advantage:

- Other enterprise HRIS/HCM platforms
