This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer based at Laurel High Global School, Rajahmundry. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring that all civil works related to school buildings, utilities, and outdoor infrastructure are executed to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring work progress, managing site resources, and reporting on project status and issues. The role also involves assisting with planning and layout of facilities, supervising stormwater and drainage systems, resolving site-level technical problems, and collaborating with the school’s management and consultants to meet timelines and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to interpret and apply drawings, codes, and technical specifications.
- Candidates should possess practical experience as Civil Engineers, including site supervision, quality control, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Planning skills for scheduling activities, managing resources, and aligning construction milestones with academic and operational needs.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and site grading to ensure safe and sustainable campus infrastructure.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in using basic engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) and familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practices.
