Are you passionate about guiding young minds and helping them find their dream careers?
We are on the hunt for a warm-hearted Career Counsellor to be the guiding star for our vibrant
student community, spanning both our school and college divisions.
Here is what you would be up to:
1. Chit-chat sessions: Dive into friendly one-on-one chats with students, understanding
their dreams, passions, and what makes them tick.
2. Playing detective: Use cool career assessment tools to help students discover their
strengths, interests, and the world of opportunities out there.
3. Being the go-to guru: Keep students in the loop about all the fab career paths out there,
and what our institution offers.
4. Inspire on the go: Got some pep talks up your sleeve? We would love for you to share,
motivate, and uplift our students with your words of wisdom.
5. Teamwork makes the dream work: Team up with our academic advisors to make sure
our students’ academic and career dreams are in sync.
6. Keep those memories: Jot down notes about your chats with students, the dreams they
share, and the guidance you offer.
Here is what we are hoping you bring to the table:
- A degree in Counselling, Education, or something similar. If you have got a Master
- degree, that is a cherry on top!
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in career counselling, with exposure to both
- school and college environments being an advantage.
- A knack for chit-chat, with a listening ear and some inspiring words to share.
- Curiosity about career trends and pathways. We love a good trend-spotter!
- A friend-making (aka networking) spirit.
- A clear background check and any other bits and bobs our institution or state might
- ask for.
