Oracle Cloud HCM Tester
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Tester to support testing activities across an Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud environment.
The successful consultant will be responsible for planning and executing functional and end-to-end testing, validating HCM processes and configurations, and working closely with functional and technical teams to identify and resolve defects.
This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases across Oracle Cloud HCM.
- Perform functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
- Validate Oracle HCM configurations against business and functional requirements.
- Test key HCM business processes including Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Compensation, Talent and Recruiting.
- Execute end-to-end business process testing across multiple HCM modules.
- Validate integrations between Oracle HCM and third-party systems.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems.
- Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution.
- Work closely with Oracle HCM functional consultants, developers and business stakeholders to investigate issues.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing.
- Prepare test scripts, test evidence and supporting documentation.
- Participate in defect triage and provide clear analysis of testing issues.
- Support go-live and post-go-live testing activities where required.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on testing experience within Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
- Experience testing Oracle HCM Cloud business processes and configurations.
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules, particularly Core HR.
- Experience across areas such as Payroll, Absence, Compensation, Talent or Recruiting.
- Experience creating detailed test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.
- Strong experience with SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end testing.
- Experience testing HCM integrations and interfaces.
- Ability to analyse defects and work with functional and technical teams to identify root causes.
- Good understanding of HCM data and the ability to perform data validation/reconciliation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with remote project teams.
Desirable
- Experience with Oracle HCM Extracts.
- Experience testing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and/or OTBI reporting validation.
- Experience with automated testing tools would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working on Oracle Fusion HCM implementations or large transformation programmes.
