Finance Accounting Business Analyst - Oracle ERP

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Sweden / Hybrid

Travel: As required

Duration: 6 months + extensions

Overview

We are looking for three highly experienced Accounting Business Analysts to support a large-scale Accounting & Reporting Transformation programme. The roles will focus on analysing complex accounting and reconciliation requirements, defining accounting processes and patterns, and translating business requirements into implementable Oracle Financials Cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

- Analyse accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and functional requirements within a complex enterprise environment.

- Translate business and accounting requirements into process descriptions, accounting patterns, configuration specifications, and system requirements.

- Analyse and document financial processes across multiple front-end and source systems.

- Define accounting scenarios and relationships using appropriate accounting principles, including T-account analysis.

- Support the configuration, operation, and maintenance of Oracle Financials Cloud and supporting financial solutions.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, system architects, developers, integration teams, and application teams.

- Produce and maintain high- and low-level design documentation, process documentation, and test scripts.

- Plan, prepare, and execute testing of financial processes and accounting solutions.

- Support deployment, release activities, troubleshooting, incident analysis, and remediation across non-production and production environments.

- Contribute to common accounting standards, reconciliation principles, and consistent ways of working.

- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross-team delivery.

- Provide solution guidance and knowledge sharing across project teams.

- Train and coach end-users to effectively use the resulting accounting solutions.

- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned deliverables and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

- Extensive hands-on accounting experience within a complex enterprise environment.

- Strong experience analysing accounting, reconciliation, and reporting requirements and translating them into practical system solutions.

- Proven ability to describe complex accounting scenarios, including through T-accounts.

- Experience working with large-scale financial transformation or accounting system implementations.

- Experience planning and executing testing of financial processes and accounting solutions.

- Strong understanding of financial services, accounting, and highly regulated business environments.

- Experience working within agile development teams and collaborating across business, application, integration, and testing functions.

- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex deliverables.

- Confident communicator across both business and technical stakeholders.

- Structured, pragmatic, and collaborative approach to complex transformation programmes.

- Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable

- Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud or a comparable enterprise accounting solution.

- Experience integrating large-scale business applications with Oracle Financials Cloud.

- Experience across accounting SaaS, financial reporting, reconciliation, or regulatory reporting solutions.

- Experience in Change Management, organisational transformation, and end-user training.

- Experience contributing to Oracle ERP transformation programmes.
