POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting a Supportive Services Clerk. This full-time, fully on-site position pays $25.00 an hour and is located in Racine, WI.
The Supportive Services Clerk provides administrative, clerical, and program support for workforce-development services. This position is responsible for processing supportive-service requests, maintaining accurate client and program records, coordinating the distribution and reconciliation of transportation assistance and debit cards, supporting supply management, and ensuring documents are properly maintained in electronic case-file and project systems. The successful candidate will deliver responsive customer service to individuals from diverse backgrounds while adhering to applicable program and State requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assemble informational materials, packets, and other program resources as requested.
- Assist with the preparation and generation of reports by gathering data from computer systems, printed reports, and other available sources.
- Process supportive services by reviewing supportive-services forms, verifying client addresses when needed, ordering approved items, and confirming client receipt.
- Enter complete, accurate, and timely comments regarding supportive services into project-specific systems in accordance with State requirements.
- Distribute, track, reconcile, and maintain records for transportation assistance, including bus passes and gas cards.
- Distribute, track, reconcile, and maintain records for debit cards used for approved internet and cell-phone supportive services.
- Obtain required client signatures and ensure all supporting documentation is complete.
- Upload client and program documents into the electronic case-file system accurately and promptly.
- Maintain the project Shared Drive and ensure electronic records are organized, current, and accessible to authorized staff.
- Assist with ordering office supplies and maintaining an inventory supply list.
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and available for program and office operations.
- Maintain organized records of all orders, invoices, receipts, and related documentation for monthly submission to the Manager and/or Accounting.
- Perform general office-clerk and administrative duties, including filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and document organization.
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service to clients, colleagues, vendors, and partner organizations.
- Protect confidential client, program, and organizational information in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, procedures, confidentiality expectations, and State requirements applicable to the position.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Prior experience in an administrative, clerical, workforce-development, human-services, customer-service, or office-support role is preferred.
- Experience maintaining electronic records, working with client databases, processing assistance requests, or handling confidential information is preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, copiers, telephones, and filing systems.
- Ability to occasionally move, organize, and transport office materials, supply boxes, documents, and informational packets.
- Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an unpaid lunch period from 12:00 noon to 12:30 p.m.
- This is a fully on-site position in Racine, Wisconsin.
- Travel may be required.
