Executive Experience Consultant

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Job Type: 12+ MONTHS CONTRACT

Pay range: $100 -$112/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking an Executive Experience Consultant to design and deliver exceptional, high-touch experiences for senior executives visiting our Executive Briefing Center.

This is a unique role that combines executive engagement, strategic consulting, event/experience management, stakeholder management, facilitation, and customer experience.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of executive experiences, from pre-arrival planning and customer research through on-site delivery and post-engagement follow-up. You will work closely with C-level executives, sales leaders, consultants, product experts, speakers, and cross-functional teams to create personalized experiences that connect customer business priorities with technology and transformation opportunities.

This is not a traditional event coordination or administrative role. We are looking for someone who can operate strategically while maintaining an exceptional level of attention to detail and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Execute Executive Experiences

- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of high-impact executive briefings and customer experiences.

- Own the on-site experience, ensuring every aspect of the engagement runs smoothly from guest arrival through departure.

- Develop agendas, coordinate speakers and stakeholders, manage logistics, and proactively resolve issues.

- Translate customer business priorities into engaging, relevant and personalized executive experiences.

- Partner with internal teams to ensure all participants are prepared and aligned.

Deliver Exceptional Hospitality

- Approach every executive briefing as a human experience to design, not simply an event to manage.

- Research guests in advance to understand their roles, business priorities, interests and preferences.

- Anticipate customer needs before they are communicated and brief internal teams accordingly.

- Create thoughtful, personalized moments that make executives and their teams feel valued.

- Maintain a high standard of quality across every touchpoint before, during and after the engagement.

- Continuously identify opportunities to surprise, delight and exceed customer expectations.

Engage & Influence Senior Stakeholders

- Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, sales leaders, product experts, consultants and cross-functional partners.

- Serve as a senior point of contact for executive customers and internal stakeholders.

- Influence stakeholders and drive alignment even without direct authority.

- Confidently navigate challenging situations, competing priorities and last-minute changes.

- Bring strong executive presence, professionalism and credibility to every interaction.

Facilitate Strategic Conversations

- Help evolve executive briefings from traditional, slide-heavy presentations to facilitator-led, interactive and strategic conversations.

- Coach speakers and subject-matter experts on dialogue, facilitation and executive engagement.

- Help create compelling narratives, demonstrations and discussions aligned to customer transformation goals.

- Facilitate conversations with senior executives and guide discussions toward meaningful business outcomes.

Industry & Business Advisory

- Develop expertise in an assigned industry and understand relevant business challenges, trends and opportunities.

- Use insights gathered from executive engagements to improve future experiences and customer narratives.

- Connect customer challenges with relevant technology, transformation and business opportunities.

- Partner with consulting, sales, marketing and product teams to position the organization as a trusted strategic advisor.

Program Excellence

- Manage multiple executive engagements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Establish and continuously improve program standards, processes and best practices.

- Identify risks and operational challenges before they impact the customer experience.

- Mentor and support peers and partners in delivering high-quality executive experiences.

- Gather feedback and use engagement insights to continuously improve the program.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in executive engagement, executive briefing programs, strategic events, consulting, customer experience, professional services, experiential marketing, or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience planning and executing high-touch executive experiences or events.

- Experience working directly with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.

- Strong executive presence and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent facilitation, storytelling and presentation skills.

- Strong program and project management capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.

- Ability to manage complex, high-pressure situations and adapt quickly when priorities change.

- Strong business acumen and a consultative, customer-first mindset.

- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and build trusted relationships.

- Proactive, entrepreneurial "get it done" mentality.

- Genuine passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and exceeding expectations.

- Curiosity about technology, innovation and AI.

Preferred Qualifications

- Background in technology, SaaS, consulting, professional services, sales, customer experience or executive programs.

- Experience working within an Executive Briefing Center or similar executive engagement environment.

- Experience with executive speaker coaching or facilitation.

- Experience managing VIP or C-suite customer events.

- Experience with Microsoft Office 365.

- Experience with briefing or engagement management platforms.

- Familiarity with Power BI or other analytics tools.

- Experience developing customer narratives, presentations or executive-facing content.

Relevant Candidate Backgrounds

Candidates may come from a variety of backgrounds, including:

- Executive Briefing / Executive Experience

- Executive Programs

- Strategic or Experiential Events

- Customer Experience

- Management or Technology Consulting

- Professional Services

- Client/Executive Engagement

- Executive Business Partner / Senior Executive Assistant with significant event, program and executive engagement experience

- Luxury/VIP hospitality or experiential environments with strong business and executive stakeholder exposure

Work Environment

This is a highly on-site, execution-focused role. The successful candidate should be comfortable being physically present at the Executive Briefing Center and actively managing executive experiences in person.

The role requires strong attention to detail, energy, adaptability and the ability to remain calm and composed while managing multiple moving parts.

Occasional travel may be required for off-site events, team meetings or knowledge-sharing activities.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate can simultaneously think like a consultant, execute like an event leader, communicate like an executive, and care like a hospitality professional.

You are naturally curious, polished, highly organized and comfortable operating in ambiguity. You don't wait to be told what needs to happen—you anticipate what needs to happen, take ownership and make it happen.

Most importantly, you believe that every executive interaction is an opportunity to create a memorable experience, build trust and drive meaningful business outcomes.
