Overview
Seeking a highly motivated In Vivo Associate Scientist or Scientist with hands-on rodent experience to support in vivo pharmacology studies, animal models, and early-stage research programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rodent handling and dosing across multiple routes, including IV, IP, oral, SC, intrathecal, and intratracheal.
- Conduct blood/fluid collection, necropsies, perfusions, and tissue collection.
- Monitor animal health and maintain accurate study records.
- Support the development, optimization, and validation of rodent disease models.
- Collaborate with in vivo teams, vivarium staff, and project teams.
- Analyze and present study data.
- Follow IACUC-approved protocols and all applicable ethical, regulatory, and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Hands-on in vivo research experience with rodents.
- Strong knowledge of standard rodent handling, restraint, dosing, and sample collection techniques.
- Experience with blood/fluid collection, particularly tail vein and saphenous vein.
- Demonstrated experience with tissue collection and animal necropsy.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Animal Science, Pharmacology, or related field + 5+ years of relevant industry experience, OR
- Master’s degree in a related field + 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
