You build models that actually go live. And you stay the owner once they run.
For my client, a Dutch scale-up, I am looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. They are moving their entire platform to AI-first and you build the foundation underneath it.
Salary: 7,000 to 9,500 gross per month.
What you do
- Build and train models for matching, recommendations and predictions in the commercial process
- Bring those models to production and keep them there: pipelines, deployment, retraining
- Set up monitoring and observability, so you notice a model drifting before the business does
- Help build the AI platform the rest of the team will work on
- Integrate LLMs and AI APIs where that is the fastest route to impact
You work with data engineering, product and software engineering, and talk directly to the business about what a model needs to deliver.
What you bring
- Bachelor or master level
- At least 5 years as an ML engineer, MLOps engineer or similar
- Strong in Python
- Models you brought to production yourself and owned afterwards
- Experience with a cloud platform and with CI/CD
- You can explain a technical choice to a non-technical stakeholder
You do not need to tick every box. If you come close, I would like to hear from you.
Nice to have
Vertex AI or BigQuery, MLflow or similar tooling, Kubernetes and containerisation, Infrastructure as Code, experience with LLMs, RAG or AI agents.
