Role Description The Information Technology Staff role is a full-time hybrid position based in Dallas, GA, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves monitoring and maintaining computer networks and systems, including installing, configuring, and supporting hardware, software, and network components. The person in this position will troubleshoot technical issues, resolve user problems, and escalate complex incidents when necessary. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing network security settings, performing routine maintenance, and documenting configurations and processes. The role also includes providing responsive and professional customer service to internal and external users, supporting them with system access, performance issues, and general IT inquiries.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess core Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with operating systems, common business applications, and basic IT infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, such as configuring routers and switches, managing network resources, and monitoring network performance.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including implementing security policies, managing firewalls, and supporting data protection and access control.
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues and apply effective solutions.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, support users patiently, and manage multiple requests professionally.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with help desk or ticketing systems, familiarity with cloud services, and basic scripting or automation skills.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
