Role Description The Developer role at EgoTECHworld is a full-time hybrid position based in Mobile, AL, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems that support client and internal projects. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, reviewing and optimizing existing code, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and QA. The Developer will also participate in requirements analysis, contribute to technical documentation, and stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving system performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and experience with software development frameworks.
- Knowledge of web development concepts, including front-end and back-end technologies, APIs, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Understanding of software engineering principles such as object-oriented design, version control (e.g., Git), and testing practices.
- Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or deployment environments and basic security best practices is a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in IT solution development, internships, or personal projects that demonstrate technical proficiency is highly beneficial.
