Role Description The Software Tester role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Geneva, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the Software Tester will design and execute test cases, perform functional and regression testing, and document defects with clear, actionable details. The person in this position will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and quality assurance teams to validate requirements and ensure that software meets defined standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing specifications, identifying potential risks, participating in test planning, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Test Execution skills to validate functionality and performance.
- Candidates should possess Quality Assurance and Test Cases skills to design, maintain, and optimize structured test scenarios.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret results, identify root causes, and suggest improvements.
- Familiarity with test management tools and issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar) is beneficial.
- Experience with manual testing; exposure to automation frameworks or scripting languages is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus in an international environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
