A leading medical device company is seeking a bilingual IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to support business users and sites across Japan. This position will serve as the primary IT contact for Japan, working closely with Regional Cloud and Network Engineers based in Singapore to ensure smooth IT operations, infrastructure support, and end-user services.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 IT support to business users and offices across Japan.
- Act as the local IT infrastructure point of contact for Japan.
- Collaborate with regional Cloud and Network Engineering teams in Singapore.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, network, and cloud-related issues.
- Coordinate and manage local IT vendors and service providers.
- Support office IT equipment, systems, and site operations.
- Participate in IT projects, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Travel to sites within Japan when required.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or End-User Support roles.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience providing L2 technical support and troubleshooting.
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with regional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple office locations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
- Experience in multinational or regional IT environments.
Working Arrangement
- Main workplace: Tokyo
- Hybrid work style: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
- Occasional business travel within Japan as required

応募要件
- ITインフラ、システムエンジニア、またはエンドユーザーサポートの実務経験
- ネットワークの基本知識（LAN/WAN、Wi-Fi、VPN、スイッチ、ルーター等）
- Microsoft Azure および／または AWS に関する知識
- L2サポートおよびトラブルシューティングの実務経験
