About the role:
As a Senior Procurement, you will be responsible for managing strategic procurement activities, supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, and high-value procurement processes to support large-scale data center and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for specialized data center equipment, construction services, and other project requirements.
• Lead end-to-end RFP and tender processes, including supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and finalization.
• Negotiate high-value contracts with General Contractors, equipment manufacturers, EPC companies, and strategic suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and sustainable long-term agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers while monitoring vendor performance, quality, compliance, and delivery.
• Analyze market trends, procurement costs, budgets, and spending to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain and procurement risks.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Construction, Finance, Operations, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project and business requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement data, monitor spending, track savings, and prepare regular procurement and supplier performance reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience for senior-level positions.
• Experience in data center infrastructure, construction, mission-critical environments, telecommunications, EPC, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Strong background in strategic procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or engineering.
• Proven experience in CAPEX procurement and project-based procurement activities.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, commercial analysis, and financial evaluation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement processes, technical standards, and commercial principles.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively within high-pressure project environments and tight timelines.
• Good understanding of contract preparation and review, invoicing, payment terms, commercial terms, and negotiation processes.
