Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Personal Trainer role based in San Marino & South Pasadena, CA. The Personal Trainer will design and deliver personalized fitness programs, conduct one-on-one and small group training sessions, and demonstrate safe and effective exercise techniques. Daily responsibilities include assessing member fitness levels, tracking progress, offering guidance on proper equipment use, and providing encouragement to help members reach their goals. The role also involves educating members on healthy lifestyle habits, supporting club promotions and member onboarding, and maintaining a clean, organized training environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, including designing and leading individualized and group workout programs.
- Experience with Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to create varied, engaging, and goal-focused training sessions.
- Knowledge of basic Nutrition principles to provide general guidance that supports members’ fitness objectives.
- Relevant certification in personal training (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA or equivalent) and current CPR/AED certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support people of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
- Strong customer service mindset, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Previous experience in a gym or fitness center environment is preferred; familiarity with fitness technology and tracking tools is a plus.
